Boro attempts a counter takedown but Khan avoids it well and moves away. Khan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Boro under the eye. Khan misses with a looping right. Boro tries to counter with a takedown but Khan is quick to defend against it. Boro walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Khan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boro. Khan scores with a shot to the body.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Adesanya definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Adesanya lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Adesanya smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Bates throws a lazy head kick and Adesanya counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bates wants to clinch but Adesanya slips to the side and Adesanya cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bates moves in looking to clinch but Adesanya pushes him off. Bates tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adesanya swats him away and circles back towards the center. Adesanya was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Adesanya slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bates fails with the takedown and Adesanya counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bates thinking. Bates's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Adesanya connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bates scrambles back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bates tries to clinch there but Adesanya circles away.

#R1##TD# Adesanya fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hodge sprawls well initially but Adesanya persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Adesanya wants to free his trapped foot but Hodge is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hodge regains full guard. Nicely done. #SUB2# Hodge working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adesanya doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hodge is tightening it up a little... Adesanya has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Adesanya reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Adesanya taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hodge!

As Matthews looks to move away, Khan throws a big counter combo but Matthews just gets out of the way. Matthews tries to clinch there but Khan circles away.
Khan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Khan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Khan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Matthews sees it coming and avoids it easily. Matthews misses with a right hand enabling Khan to counter with a crisp jab. Khan lands a head shot. Matthews shoots for a double leg takedown but Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Matthews's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #KD# Khan cracks Matthews with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Khan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Matthews to stand back up!#ROC#Matthews is rocked! Adesanya pushes Hawkins against the cage but Hawkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hawkins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Adesanya avoids it really well and circles away. Hawkins closes the distance but Adesanya moves to the side enabling Adesanya to counter with a crisp jab. #TD2# Hawkins scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Adesanya dodges the ground and pound from Hawkins. Hawkins is staying tight to Adesanya's torso, preventing him from escaping. Hawkins tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Hawkins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#T1# Hawkins trying to control the position but Adesanya is working away. Hawkins tries to score with some ground and pound. Adesanya controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. #R1# Kacie shoots in looking for a takedown. Khan tries to sprawl out of it but Kacie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Khan, as that shot connected.
Kacie with a poor takedown and Khan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kacie misses with a takedown attempt and Khan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Marc Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helo Kacie. Khan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kacie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kacie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Khan finds it's way round the side to connect with Kacie's head. Khan stuffs a takedown. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kacie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Khan manages to get himself to full guard.
