Thomas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cannon walks away with a smile on his face. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Thomas is trying to push Cannon away but Cannon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Cannon avoids a wild elbow strike from Thomas.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are playing wrist control here with Thomas pressed against the cage. Cannon frees himself up and cracks Thomas with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Thomas crumples to the floor, out cold! Cannon jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!

Well Diaz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
