He catches Kamelto napping and manages to drive through into side control!#SUB# Gigante tries for a kimura but Kamelto is defending well. #SUB# Gigante wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kamelto, who protects the arm well. #SUB# Gigante is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kamelto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gigante gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kamelto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gigante lets go of the hold and Kamelto can pop his arm back in it's socket.

#R1##TD# JR manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Patterson on his heels. He'll look to pass Patterson's guard now, I'm sure. Patterson is trying to keep JR in close.
JR stops Patterson from standing up. JR landing with the ground and pound. JR lands a couple of decent looking shots. JR trying to control but Patterson is working from the bottom. JR stands up over Patterson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. JR throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. JR postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. JR throws a strike but Patterson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# Patterson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. JR is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Patterson is controlling him. JR on his back here. Ivanov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ivanov avoids the head kick by Kamelto.
Ivanov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ivanov doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kamelto counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Ivanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kamelto misses with an uppercut. Knight has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Knight lands a couple of decent looking shots. Knight won't allow Zing to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Knight pushes down on Zing's leg and manages to get into half guard. Knight is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Zing tries to kick Knight off but Knight keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. #T1# Knight takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Zing wants to get back to his feet.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Drake throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dabija. A right-left combo lands from Drake. Drake darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A jab from Drake misses. Drake misses with a wild body shot. Dabija let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Drake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dabija circles away quickly and effectively. Dabija doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Drake tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dabija was well out of range. Poor timing from Drake. Drake has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA St Petersburg in the buildup to the fight. Drake throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
