Vedoy shoots in for a takedown but Pelipe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Boru Vedoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vedoy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pelipe tries to avoid it but Vedoy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pelipe to the ground. Pelipe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pelipe connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pelipe leaves Vedoy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mcgregor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vedoy defends well and Mcgregor ends up having to push Vedoy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A nice side step and Vedoy releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
