We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Olga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. Ngono eats them both and turns towards Dowling to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT2#It looks like Joseph Ngono has been cut. Dowling swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dowling lunges at Ngono with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ngono's hand. Ngono misses with a double jab.
Dowling tries to bum rush Ngono with a series of wild strikes but Ngono uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#TD# Ngono feints and as Dowling raises his hands in defense, Ngono changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#SU# Ngono stands up from guard. Let's bang! Rhodes moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Rozier is trying to control Rhodes's posture but Rhodes avoids it. Rhodes misses with an attempted head punch from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rozier tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rhodes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rozier is trying to control Rhodes's posture but Rhodes avoids it. #SUB2# Rhodes is trying to get an arm triangle but Rozier is defending well. #T1# Rozier struggling a bit here. Rozier on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rozier tries to get out of the position. Rozier tries to control but Rhodes manages to take his back. Rhodes is riding his opponent, not letting Rozier buck him off. Ngono sneaks out the side door and pushes Dworkin away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dworkin tries to clinch and Ngono counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dworkin thinking. Dworkin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dworkin. Decent striking displayed by Dworkin there.
