Mcdowell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wheeler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wheeler is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mcdowell can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hippo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Out can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hippo controls the pace.
It looks like Hippo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Hippo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round but I would say that Knock Out will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Knock Out.
