#R1# Fighter B throws a head kick that misses. Fighter A connects with a body shot that sends Fighter B's belly button to the back. Fighter B fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fighter B throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter A moves out of range easily. Fighter A misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fighter B gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fighter A counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fight stays on the outside here - Fighter B looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#TD2# Fighter B darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter A wants to get back to full guard.#T1# Fighter A slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fighter B wants to pass the guard but Fighter A is keeping the position. Fighter A doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Fighter B postures up.
Fighter A is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fighter B is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fighter A manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter B manages to get himself to full guard.

#T2# Fighter A wants to control from the top but Fighter B keeps moving. Fighter A stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fighter B swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fighter A loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fighter A postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #SUB2# Fighter B escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fighter A gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fighter A wanted to stand there but Fighter B had control of the position. #T3# Fighter A engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fighter A trying to control the position from guard on top but Fighter B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter A ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fighter B moves away.#CL# Fighter A takes the fight into the clinch. #TD# Fighter A drags the fight down to the ground.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter A holds on and takes a little breather. Fighter B preventing the sweep. #T4##SUB# Fighter A looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fighter B passes into half guard.
Fighter A is looking to control Fighter B's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fighter A avoid being mounted? The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fighter B connects with a nice short shot to Fighter A's temple. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fighter B is nestled in close to Fighter A, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Khabib Nurmagomedov dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.#R2# Fighter B tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fighter A dives in and grabs Fighter B's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes down on Fighter A's head and hops out. Fighter B avoids the head kick by Fighter A.
And Fighter B tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter A pushes his down on his head and steps out. Fighter A throws a half hearted mid kick. Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around?#TD2# Fighter B drives through with a takedown into Fighter A's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Fighter B is looking to work some ground and pound but Fighter A has wrist control. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's posture. Fighter B prevents Fighter A from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fighter B's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #T1# Fighter B with a nice head shot there.#SUB# Fighter B got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fighter A has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fighter B has managed to get both his arms back between Fighter A's legs - danger averted. Fighter B controls from within his opponent's guard. Fighter B looking to pass the guard. #SUB2# Fighter B has gone for a leg lock! Fighter A slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fighter B's guard.#REVR# Fighter B trying to keep a closed guard but Fighter A is proving a slippery customer.
#T2# Fighter A controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fighter B is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fighter A slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#T3##SUB# Fighter A working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Fighter B manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Khabib Nurmagomedov has got the better of the ground game so far. Fighter A wants to improve his position but Fighter B is controlling well.
Fighter A has his hands clasped together around Fighter B's back. He's all about the action.#T4# Fighter A makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fighter A. Fighter B in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Fighter A has a closed guard, preventing Fighter B from standing up. Fighter B missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B wants to stand but Fighter A has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Khabib Nurmagomedov will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!#R3# Fighter B tries to clinch there but Fighter A circles away.
#TD# Fighter A shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fighter A was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fighter B tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Fighter B tries to hold on but Fighter A pushes him away. Fighter A takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Fighter B is squirming around, avoiding Fighter A's attempts to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B is in all sorts of trouble here.
#T1# Fighter A wants to control the pace but Fighter B is squirming around nicely. Fighter B tries to reverse the position but Fighter A maintains control. Fighter A landing strikes, looking to finish! Fighter A content just to control the position here. Fighter A wants to take his opponent's back but Fighter B doesn't allow it. Fighter A in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
#T2# Fighter B regains half guard. Fighter A trying to pass the guard but Fighter B defending well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter B can do anything to dispel that myth. Fighter A tries to stand and escape but Fighter B is controlling the position. Fighter A tries to pass to full mount but Fighter B defends it. Fighter A wants to take a breather but Fighter B is having none of it. Fighter A controlling the action here.#T3# Fighter A not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Fighter B misses with some strikes from the bottom.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Fighter A throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Fighter B enables Fighter A to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fighter B manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fighter B throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Fighter A postures up in Fighter B's guard and throws a big left but Fighter B blocks it. Fighter A postures up.
#T4# Fighter B wants to sweep here but Fighter A controlling him for the moment. Fighter B takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#SUB2# Fighter B working for a triangle but Fighter A defends it easily.
Fighter A lands a couple of digs. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A stands up over Fighter B, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Fighter B striking from his own guard. Fighter B wants to sweep here but Fighter A controlling him for the moment. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Khabib Nurmagomedov showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
