Conners drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lukic sprawls and moves away.
Conners looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lukic is fending him off so far but Conners persists. Nope, Lukic circles away and we're back to standing.
Lukic looks to land a combination but Conners avoids it well.
Lukic swings for the body but Conners moves out of range.
Conners shoots in for a takedown but Lukic shows good takedown defense.
Lukic cracks a nice hook into Conners's ribs.
Lukic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Conners throws a sloppy head kick and Lukic moves out of range easily.
It seemed like Lukic was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Conners on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Lukic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Conners shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lukic as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chase Conners. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
