#R1# Kalavas moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Krawl scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

#TD# Krawl gets caught flat footed, as Kalavas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.#SUB# Kalavas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Krawl keeping moving, preventing Kalavas from controlling successfully. Kalavas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. #T1# Kalavas trying to control the position from guard on top but Krawl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kalavas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Krawl is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kalavas sitting in guard here, content to control. Kalavas has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Kalavas trying to control the position from guard on top but Krawl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Kalavas forces his way into half guard.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.#SUB# Kalavas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kalavas uses his free foot to push down on Krawl's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Krawl. Krawl wants to control but Kalavas is having none of it. Kalavas working Krawl over with strikes here. #T3# Kalavas tries to control but Krawl wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Kalavas looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kalavas landing punches. Kalavas scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Krawl?
Krawl takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.#SUB# Kalavas with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
