And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kyrie James. Well James has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Fukado doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#TD# Jones gets caught flat footed, as Fukado shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fukado loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fukado is stalling in the full guard. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Fukado lands a couple of digs. Fukado has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fukado showing good wrestling skills to control the position. and Dosantos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dosantos shoots for a takedown but King saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. King closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. King throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dosantos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dosantos throws a big counter combination but King scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. King fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dosantos checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Dosantos went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Dosantos scores with a jab to the head.
King misses with a shot to the body and Dosantos counters with a two punch combo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jones is taking a breather. Encarnacion says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Encarnacion is trying to get back to full guard. Jones trying to control from half guard but Encarnacion is working away. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SUB2# Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Encarnacion is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is nestled in close to Encarnacion, controlling him well.
