Umarov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pleb swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Umarov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pleb circles away.

and Pleb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Pleb counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've been told by Pleb's head coaches at Stormcrow Centre that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Umarov throws a head kick but Pleb moves out of range.
Pleb quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pleb crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Umarov - the referee stops the clock and Pleb gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Umarov. Pleb manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bagomed Umarov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
