#R1# Ackermann shoots and misses and Artusii counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ackermann's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Artusii connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ackermann scrambles back to his feet. Ackermann fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ackermann goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Ackermann tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ackermann is breathing heavily. Ackermann tries for a takedown but Artusii sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Ackermann. That's going to take a lot out of him. Artusii lands with a right hand. #KD2# Artusii feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ackermann sprawling to the canvas! Ackermann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Artusii finish him?!
#ROC2#Ackermann is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Artusii lands a nice shot to the body.
Oh Ackermann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Artusii dances in with a quick combination. Ackermann is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Artusii snaps Ackermann's head back. Ackermann stumbles backwards against the cage. Artusii steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Ackermann's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Ackermann just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gordon Artusii! A relieved looking Gordon Artusii thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

#R1# Masiak avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Masiak connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Masiak displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. #TD# Submit changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Masiak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Masiak wants to get back to his feet but Submit drags him back down.#ES2# Masiak sneaks out the side door and pushes Submit away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Masiak looks to land a left hand but Submit moved out of range nicely. An attempted straight right counter from Submit misses the target. Submit avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

An attempted straight right counter from Submit misses the target. Masiak looks to throw a body kick and Submit counters with a straight right hand. Masiak lands a head kick. Submit smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Submit avoids the head kick by Masiak.
Submit has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Shut Up & Train! in the buildup to the fight. Submit lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Masiak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Masiak misses the shot to the body. Mirosz Masiak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Submit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Submit is standing up over Masiak. Masiak looks to escape but Submit dives into side control.

Possibly, maybe, no Submit has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Masiak seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Masiak prevents Submit from improving position. #SUB# Submit is trying to get an arm triangle but Masiak is defending well. #T2# Submit is looking to take a break and control but Masiak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Submit passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Masiak! Masiak is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
#SUB# Submit looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Submit sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. #SUB# Submit goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Masiak is on top in guard.
#T3# Submit wants to sweep but no luck. #SUB# Submit escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Masiak gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# Submit is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Masiak rolls with it to try and escape but Submit cranks on the arm and Masiak is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

#R1##TD2# Grabber closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. An elbow from Grabber crashes against the mat.
Vondra struggling a bit here. Vondra is not content to let Grabber control the position. Grabber with the ground and pound but Vondra regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Grabber trying to control the action but Vondra is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vondra trying to control here.
#SUB2# Grabber is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Grabber winds up and cracks Vondra with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #T1# Grabber throws a strike but Vondra avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Grabber wants to control from the top but Vondra keeps moving. Grabber makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Grabber wants to control from the top but Vondra keeps moving. Grabber looking to sit in guard and control but Vondra gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Grabber looking to control.
Vondra could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Grabber looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Grabber keeping moving, preventing Vondra from controlling successfully. #T2# Grabber manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vondra manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Vondra avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Grabber working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Grabber postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Vondra wants to sweep but no luck. Vondra controlling the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Grabber loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Grabber wants to control from the top but Vondra keeps moving. Grabber has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Vondra working a defensive guard here.

Vondra is fighting to maintain full guard but Grabber has managed to sneak the leg through. Vondra won't allow Grabber to pass to mount. Grabber lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Vondra is breathing heavily. Grabber content to control rather than advance. Grabber throwing shots but Vondra is blocking nicely. #T4# Grabber lands a big elbow - Vondra is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Grabber!
