Hammerfist, elbow! yells Black's corner. There ya go! There ya go! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Black distracts Oper with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Black is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Black working some strikes from top position. Black must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#T1# Black throwing strikes but missing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Porier Slap. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silverhand has Slap pressed against the cage, preventing Slap from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Slap is trying to drag Silverhand to the mat but Silverhand just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Slap wants a takedown but no success here.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Porier Slap. Well Silverhand has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
