FrownFelter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. FrownFelter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Buffs scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Rose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buffs. Rose throws a big counter combination but Buffs scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Buffs looks to throw the jab but Rose is out of range. Rose looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rose takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Rose connects with a right hand. Buffs shakes it off.#ROC#Buffs is rocked! Rose throws a hook but Buffs avoids it easily. Buffs is still on wobbly legs! Can Rose finish him? Rose connects with a looping right hand.
Buffs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rose pinned against the cage. Rose gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rose is looking to counter punch.#T1# Rose throws a hook to the side of Buffs's head but Buffs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Buffs seems to have recovered his senses. Buffs throws a big shot that misses. Buffs is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rose sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Harrison Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cartier Buffs. A jab from Rose misses. Rose misses with a looping right. Cartier Buffs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rose leaves Buffs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Harrison Rose is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#CL2# Buffs instigates a clinch. #R1# Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nathan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Laaksonen moves out of range as Lee strikes. Lee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Laaksonen scores with a shot to the body.
Laaksonen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lee is landing a low percentage of strikes. Lee fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A lazy left from Laaksonen finds it's target. Lee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Laaksonen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lee is looking to counter punch. A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target. Lee misses with a lunging right hand
and Laaksonen counters with a three punch combo that has Lee backing up. Lee nods at Laaksonen to acknowledge the strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Laaksonen tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lee throws a right and a left that Laaksonen avoids nicely. Laaksonen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Laaksonen moves out of range of the strikes. Laaksonen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lee has time to react.#T1# Laaksonen staying out of range there. A little jabbing left from Laaksonen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Laaksonen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Lee scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Laaksonen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lee.

Laaksonen throws out a counter right but Lee avoids it with no problem. Lee misses with a right hand and Laaksonen counters with a nice body shot. Laaksonen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Lee is breathing heavily. Lee throws a hook but Laaksonen avoids it easily. Laaksonen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A jab from Laaksonen does it's job there. A shot to the liver by Laaksonen. Beautiful body shot. Lee throws an off balance right hand
and Laaksonen counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lee fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Laaksonen on the side of the head. Will he be able to recover?!!#KD2# Laaksonen steps into range and cracks Lee with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Lee flops backwards and Laaksonen dives into his guard looking to finish!

Lee is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Laaksonen dives into side control.
Laaksonen lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Laaksonen cracks Lee with an elbow. That is naaassty.#SUB2# Laaksonen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well. Laaksonen works to advance to full mount. Lee defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Laaksonen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Laaksonen on the ground. Laaksonen landing strikes from the mount and Lee is in trouble! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Laaksonen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Lee misses with a looping left. A shot to the body from Lee misses and Laaksonen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lee takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Lee moves forwards but Laaksonen connects with a nice, crisp jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Laaksonen lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lee. Lee tries to recover but Laaksonen is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lee lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Garcia is looking to slow Carvalho down with leg kicks. Garcia scores with a jab to the body. Carvalho throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

#KD# Garcia lands a left and a right that send Carvalho crashing to the mat, dazed. Garcia thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC#Carvalho is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Garcia has cracked Carvalho with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Garcia lands another huge swinging hook and Carvalho tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Carvalho, before Garcia can land any more shots!

Francisco Garcia decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. #R1##TD# Buffs tries to sprawl but Tanner drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tanner seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Buffs is looking for a sweep. Tanner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tanner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buffs on the ground. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tanner lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are battling for position here. Buffs manages to regain full guard. Nice work. #SUB2# Tanner is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Buffs has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tanner is looking to defend but Buffs has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tanner! Buffs pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tanner taps out and this one is all over!

Bucombo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#REVB# Mercado is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bucombo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mercado in side control, throwing shots but Bucombo defends. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mercado remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Espinoza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Everett. Everett tries a low kick but Espinoza avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Herrera was well out of range. Poor timing from Garcia. Garcia slaps away a takedown attempt from Herrera, before circling back to the center of the mat. Herrera ducks right into an uppercut from Garcia. Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Garcia moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Herrera! Garcia continues to tee off on Herrera, landing with a left and a right! Garcia connects with a right hand that leaves Herrera sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Garcia!
