Koda Southam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tin Williams. Southam moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Southam scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Southam leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Williams shoots for a takedown but Southam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Southam fails in his attempt to clinch. Williams is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Woodward connects with a nice short shot to Nix's temple. Woodward looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nix is trying to maintain the position but Woodward is very close to passing his half guard. Woodward throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Nix is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #SUB2# Nix actively working from the bottom here. Nice strikes from Woodward there. Woodward is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. #T1# Woodward is thwarting Nix's attempts to control the position. Woodward lands a big shot. Santiago takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Brescht regains full guard. Nicely done. Santiago loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Santiago knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brescht on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santiago throws a big elbow that misses. Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Brescht finished him against the cage.

Malone throws a hook to the side of Toto's head but Toto sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Malone fails with an attempt to clinch.

Malone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Toto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Malone. Toot Toto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Malone doesn't manage to clinch there - Toto circles away.

Matador looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Woodward misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Conley uses from the top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Conley wants to pass the guard but Papa is keeping the position.
