Solis looks for the body kick but Hartman saw that one coming. A head kick misses from Solis. Solis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hartman sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hartman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Solis circles away. Solis thumps Hartman with a low kick. Hartman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Solis as he jumps to the side. Hartman looks for the body kick but Solis saw that one coming. And Solis counters with a quick kick to the body but Hartman blocks it. Solis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hartman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Solis. Solis lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hartman will feel that in the morning. Hartman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hartman throws a head kick that misses. Solis thows a left - swing and a miss! Malaki Solis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Hartman rushes Solis and presses him up against the cage. Solis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Solis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Solis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Solis wants it to stay on the feet. Hartman pulls out of a head kick attempt.

#R1# Vance displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Li. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Vance cracks Li with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Vance shoots in for a takedown but Li shows good takedown defense. Li tries to counter with a takedown but Vance is quick to defend against it.#TD# Li closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vance to the mat! Vance manages to get full guard. Li trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Li is working hard here to advance position. Vance avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Li scoring with some ground and pound. Li throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vance works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Vance looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Li passes easily into side control. Nice work. Li cracks Vance with a big right hand but Vance just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Vance looks winded! Li lands a nice forearm strike. #CUT#It looks like King Vance has been cut. Li sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Vance is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Li immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Vance is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Li!

Guenette wants to control from the top but Kvaratskhelia keeps moving. Guenette pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kvaratskhelia is keeping the position for now. #SUB# Kvaratskhelia is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guenette defends well. Kvaratskhelia punching to the body, from the bottom. Kvaratskhelia is pulling down on Guenette's head to control his posture. Guenette trying to control the position from guard on top but Kvaratskhelia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB# Guenette got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kvaratskhelia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guenette has managed to get both his arms back between Kvaratskhelia's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smack wriggles free and stands up. We've been told by Smack's head coaches at Punchin N\' Chockin that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Vance cracks Smack with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Vance misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smack explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.#CL# Smack takes the fight into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Smack working aggressively here.

A lull in the action here. Guenette tries to advance to mount but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guenette gets to mount! Beasley was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Beasley's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Guenette could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T1# Guenette avoids the attempt from Beasley to control. Guenette wants to control the pace but Beasley is squirming around nicely. Beasley is looking to get to half guard. Beasley is squirming around, avoiding Guenette's attempts to control the action. Beasley has given up his back - I don�t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Alvarez has eaten all the pies!#SUB2# Alvarez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Oh Boone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Boone manages to work his way to half guard, despite Alvarez's best efforts.
