#R1##CL# Wade moves into range and clinches up with Mayer. Wade is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
#TD# Wade gets a trip takedown into half guard. Wade seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mayer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mayer won't allow Wade to pass to mount. Wade throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wade lands a nice short elbow. Mayer tries to roll over but Wade keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mayer misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Mayer is doing well to control the position and prevent Wade from advancing to side control. Wade lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #T1# Wade is thwarting Mayer's attempts to control the position. Wade not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mayer trying to control but Wade postures up.
Well, if Wade is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wade moves into full mount! Mayer won't be happy about that! Mayer is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wade with a couple of short strikes. Wade with the ground and pound from mount. #ROC#Mayer is rocked! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wade tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Mayer is still in real trouble! Can Wade finish him? Mayer is in a horrible position here. Wade smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wade cracks Mayer with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
