Shonen stays in close to Duffy's body and controls the position. #SUB# Duffy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Shonen passes into side control.
Duffy tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Shonen easily slips into full mount! Duffy throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shonen trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Duffy doesn't escape. Duffy wants to get back to his feet. #T1# Shonen is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Shonen gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Shonen gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Shonen apologises and we restart here on the feet.

#R1##CL# Kane gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jim stalling in the clinch but Kane improves position. Kane leaning his opponent against the ropes.#BC# Kane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've been hearing reports that Kane has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jim fails in his attempt to clinch. As Jim looks to move away, Kane throws a big counter combo but Jim just gets out of the way. Jim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Kane avoids the head kick by Jim.
It looked like Kane wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kane. Jim swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kane counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jim lands with a nice combination. Kane backs away looking to recover.#T1# Jim tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Mogamedov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.#SUB2# Mogamedov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Vovchanov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#SUB2# Mogamedov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vovchanov, who protects the arm well.
