Huffman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Havener pinned against the cage. Havener gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Havener was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Huffman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Havener manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A quick step to the side and Havener tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horrible takedown attempt by Huffman or perhaps it was just good defense by Havener, which made it look bad.
It looked like Havener was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Huffman.
Huffman is looking to clinch but Havener is avoiding it.
Havener stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Havener wants it to stay on the feet.
