The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Mr Pervitin! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#CL# Pervitin gets tackled into the cage by Ubereem. Ubereem maintains the clinch. Pervitin tries for a takedown but Ubereem manages to get underhooks.
Pervitin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ubereem pulls him back up using the underhooks. Pervitin is trying to drag Ubereem to the mat but Ubereem just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Alistair Ubereem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Pervitin. Pervitin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ubereem fights it off and pushes away nicely.
