#R1# Fudge keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fudge fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ponenki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fudge manages to avoid it. Ponenki falls off balance throwing a combination
#TD# and Fudge counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fudge performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fudge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#SUB# Fudge looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Clarkson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fudge was well out of range. Poor timing from Clarkson. Clarkson cracks Fudge with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Clarkson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
#CL# Clarkson closes the distance and clinches. Clarkson is working for takedown but Fudge is calmly controlling the position for now. Clarkson has Fudge pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fudge manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. #TD# Clarkson drags the fight down to the ground.
