#R1# Danish throws a half hearted mid kick.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Danish. You can see the frustration on Nigeyn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A lull in the action here as Danish stalls from top position. Danish tries to move into full mount but can't pass Nigeyn's legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Danish stands up and we're back to a striking position. #T1##TD# Nigeyn gets caught flat footed, as Danish shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Danish is standing up over Nigeyn. Nigeyn looks to escape but Danish dives into side control.
#REVB# Danish is staying tight to Nigeyn's torso, preventing him from escaping. #SUB# Danish tries for a kimura but Nigeyn is defending well. #SU# Danish decides to take the fight back to the feet. Danish circles away from the clinch attempt#TD# and Danish counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nigeyn! Nigeyn is looking to get back to his feet here but Danish is keeping cool and he's managed to take Nigeyn's back.#T2# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! I would not like to be Nigeyn right now.
Danish punches Nigeyn on the ear. Danish connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Nigeyn to escape the position.

Danish has the hooks in. Nigeyn is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. #SUB# Danish working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Nigeyn is doing well to defend. Danish seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Nigeyn is forced to tap and this one is over!

#R1# Syazwan walks into a jab. Melendez lands a jab. Syazwan tries for a takedown but Melendez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Melendez cracks Syazwan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Nice straight punches there by Melendez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Melendez. Melendez checks a leg kick. Melendez thuds a left hand into Syazwan's body. Syazwan misses with a kick to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Melendez. That snapped Syazwan's head back.
A jab lands there for Melendez. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Melendez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Syazwan in his tracks. #TD2# Melendez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Syazwan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Melendez wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Syazwan manages to pass to side control. #REVR# Syazwan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Melendez's head. Syazwan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#T1# Syazwan passes to full mount! Melendez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Syazwan on the ground. Syazwan content just to control the position here. It looks like Syazwan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Melendez working to try and regain half guard.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Melendez tries to get out of the position.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Syazwan throws some wild stikes that Melendez manages to avoid easily.
Syazwan content just to control the position here. Syazwan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T3# Melendez tries to lock up and control but Syazwan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.#SUB2# Syazwan working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Melendez turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Syazwan off and cradles Melendez's limp body as Syazwan celebrates with his corner.
