McGregor is fighting to break Zhakypov's control of his arms but Zhakypov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Zhakypov throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Zhakypov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR#

McGregor goes for a takedown in the clinch but Frykil prevents it.
McGregor is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Frykil is defending well.
Frykil wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Frykil jumps guard but McGregor stands there with Frykil around his waist. Frykil gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McGregor tries to pull guard but Frykil holds him up against the cage and eventually McGregor drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conor McGregor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
