Beasley misses the jab. Beasley misses with the combination.
Beasley tries to bum rush Kante with a series of wild strikes but Kante uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A lazy left from Kante finds it's target. Beasley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Beasley misses with a hook. Beasley connects with a solid leg kick. Beasley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kante paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kante swats away the attempt to clinch by Beasley. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beasley misses with an uppercut. Nice jab there from Kante. Kante tests Beasley's chin there with a solid looking shot.#ROC#Beasley is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Kante scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Beasley looks winded! Kante drops Beasley with a big left hand! Beasley is injured, injured bad! Kante jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

#R1# Tesarik just misses with a punch to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tesarik darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Tesarik stuffs the takedown attempt from Duffy. Duffy gets slowly back to his feet. Duffy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tesarik to score with a decent uppercut. Duffy fails with a takedown attempt. #TD2# Duffy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Duffy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tesarik! Duffy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Tesarik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duffy on the ground. Duffy working Tesarik over with strikes here. Duffy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Tesarik really wants to buck Duffy off and get back to his feet. #SUB2# Tesarik tries to buck Duffy off so he can stand up but Duffy has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Tesarik falls backwards, slamming Duffy to the mat but Duffy holds on tight! Tesarik is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Shonen misses with a few strikes there.
Beasley throws a right and a left that Shonen avoids nicely. Beasley circles away from the clinch attempt.

Shonen on the wrong end of a nice hook. Beasley swinging wildly here.

Shonen tries to clinch up but Beasley circles away and keeps his distance. Shonen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Beasley.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Shonen swings wildly with an uppercut but Beasley uses good head movement to avoid it. #BC2# Beasley manages to break the clinch.
#T1# Shonen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Beasley but Beasley pushes him off and we're back to square one. Shonen throws a series of strikes that have Beasley backpedaling.

Shonen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Beasley throws out the jab. Beasley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No luck for Shonen with that takedown attempt. Beasley is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chael Shonen. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Beasley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #T2# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shonen gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Shonen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Beasley pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beasley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Shonen gets back to full guard.
