Tea lands a left hand.
Tea lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Schallach is trying to force a seperation but Tea has the dominant position. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Tea lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tea lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Schallach backwards. Still in the clinch, Tea scores with a nice short uppercut. Tea effectively controlling the action here. Tea lands a shoulder strike. #ROC2#Schallach is rocked! Tea's coach down at WillyQuay MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tea's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Schallach tries for a takedown but Tea manages to get underhooks.
#T1# A short left from Tea. Oh Schallach is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schallach wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Schallach is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Tea creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Schallach with a big uppercut! Schallach tries to clinch up but Tea pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Schallach to the mat! Schallach covers up and Tea unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Juan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Steelstorm.
Juan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Steelstorm uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Juan has time to react.#CUT#It looks like Don Juan has been cut. Juan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Steelstorm goes for a small jab and connects. Now Steelstorm goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Juan stumbles back but Steelstorm runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Juan to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Juan will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dominic Steelstorm! Dominic Steelstorm decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. The defeated Don Juan had this to say: 'Thank you guys. Next time i break his arm!'. |

Yakko is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Star presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Yakko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Star blocks a body shot from Yakko. Star drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Yakko gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Yakko throws a head punch that misses. Yakko misses with a knee to the head. Yakko working aggressively here.
A bit of stalling here from Star.
#TD2# Star gets control of Yakko's arms and successfully pulls guard. Star will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Star manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yakko manages to get himself to full guard.

Schallach wants to counter the offense by Schafer and move into the clinch position. Schallach pivots, looking for a leg kick but Schafer is out of range and Schallach settles back down. Schafer shoots in and drives through. Schallach sprawls well. Schallach bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Schafer's head backwards.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Schafer prevents the takedown attempt.
Schallach changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Schafer fights it off and pushes away nicely.

#R1# Yakko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Casteel. #CL2# Casteel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yakko looking to throw knees to the head but Casteel is blocking nicely.
Casteel works on Yakko's body with a couple of short punches. Casteel lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Yakko backwards. Casteel digs a right hand into Yakko's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Yakko's gas tank. Yakko is breathing heavily. Casteel tries to throw a body punch but Yakko avoids it by throwing Casteel back against the cage. #BC2# Casteel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've been told by Yakko's head coaches at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. #R1# Havener slaps away a takedown attempt from Schokke, before circling back to the center of the mat. A counter left hand to the body from Havener misses its target. Havener definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Schokke closes this distance looking for a takedown but Havener circles away. Havener swings for the body but Schokke moves out of range.
Schokke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #CL# and Havener counters by clinching up. Andrew Havener has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conni Schokke. Havener stalls. Havener lands with a light punch inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
