letting Gu counter with a right hand. Kamolov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gu paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #TD# Gu gets a double leg takedown into Kamolov's guard. Gu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gu's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gu with a nice head shot there. Kamolov trying to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sulu wants to stand but Serikbekov has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Serikbekov keeping full guard, as Sulu tries to pass. Serikbekov looking to control.

Sulu throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Serikbekov's body to avoid the submission. Serikbekov has instead reached around Sulu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Serikbekov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Gadal seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Valchev needs to keep his hands up - Gadal had a free shot at his head there. Decent striking displayed by Gadal there. Gadal dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Valchev takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gadal jabs at Valchev's body. Gadal changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gadal punishes Valchev's body with a nice straight punch. Gadal's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gadal duly obliges. #TD2# Valchev looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself.
