Candy is looking to counter with head kicks. Caron takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Caron shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Candy sprawls well. Candy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Caron gets slowly back to his feet. Caron with a poor takedown and Candy counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Caron has his takedown stuffed and Candy counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Glacius Candy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Caron. Caron fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Candy avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Candy lands a head kick!

Caron scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Candy lands a front kick. Caron is trying hard to land a takedown here. Candy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Candy jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Caron sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Caron seems to have recovered his senses. Candy lands with a slapping head kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Candy. Candy connects with a leg kick. Caron shoots and misses and Candy finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Candy scores with a kick to the midsection. Louis Caron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Candy swats away the attempt to clinch by Caron. Caron closes this distance looking for a takedown but Candy circles away. Candy throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Candy scores with a spinning back kick! Candy thows a body kick. Caron tries to catch it but that hurt him. Caron takes a kick to the side of the head. Caron closes the distance but Candy moves to the side and Candy makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Caron really felt that one! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Candy keeps Caron at a distance using the push kick. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Caron might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Candy has got the better of the exchanges. Caron is breathing heavily. Candy circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Caron drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Candy follows Caron to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Horrible takedown attempt by Larone or perhaps it was just good defense by Caron, which made it look bad. Larone looks to clinch and Caron counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Larone tries to grapple but his opponent circles enabling Caron to counter with a crisp jab. Larone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Caron circles away quickly and effectively. Caron feinted with a counter takedown. Caron tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Larone is looking to clinch but Caron is avoiding it.

Caron keeping moving, preventing Larone from controlling successfully. Caron controlling Larone's posture. Despite the aggression on Larone's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Larone defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Caron. That was a close round but I would say that Louis Caron will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kevin Larone's cut. The referee calls time. Larone leaves Caron with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Caron will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Larone's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. Larone stays in close to Caron's body and controls the position. Caron looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Larone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Larone slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that is the end of the round. Larone wants to try and get back to his feet.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Caron sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Caron has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SUB# Caron working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Caron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. #T3# Larone holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Caron tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Larone tries to hold on but Caron pushes him away. Larone reaches up to try and control the position but Caron seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Larone rolls and tries to escape and now Caron has his back!
#SUB# Caron is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Larone defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

And that's the end of the fight! Louis Caron showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Caron, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
