#R1# Chebaani avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Laperierre moves away from the strike by Chebaani. Chebaani tries for a takedown but Laperierre circles away easily and Chebaani takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chebaani slips under a jab. Ian Laperierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chebaani shoots in and drives through. Laperierre sprawls well. Laperierre connects with a right hand. Chebaani shakes it off. The fight stays on the outside here - Chebaani looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Laperierre throws a big shot that misses. Nice cross by Laperierre. Laperierre just misses with a punch to the body.
Chebaani with the counter takedown but Laperierre avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chebaani tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Laperierre defends well and Chebaani ends up having to push Laperierre into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ian Laperierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jone Jones Chebaani. Laperierre's jab looks to have found its range, popping Chebaani under the eye. Chebaani moves out of range of the strikes. Chebaani has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chebaani there as he acknowledges the shot. Laperierre has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Chebaani walks into a straight right hand from Laperierre. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Laperierre scores with the left hand. Chebaani knows he should have avoided that one. #T1# Chebaani takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Chebaani screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Laperierre! Nice submission victory there!

Blacknota looks for a takedown but Chebaani sprawls well.#TD# Blacknota shoots in and gets a takedown into Chebaani's guard. Chebaani looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. #SU# Blacknota stands up and waves to Chebaani to follow him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chebaani. Nice takedown defense from Chebaani. No joy for Blacknota on that attempt. #TD# Blacknota is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chebaani's half guard.#T1# Blacknota not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Blacknota has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chebaani tries to get to full guard but Blacknota has control of the leg. Blacknota wants to control but Chebaani is keeping him busy. Chebaani is trying to get back to full guard. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Blacknota is nestled in close to Chebaani, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Blacknota prevents Chebaani from improving his position. Blacknota wants to take a breather but Chebaani is having none of it. Blacknota has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Blacknota lands a big elbow. Chebaani is looking to get to half guard. Blacknota lands a heavy elbow. #T3# Blacknota content just to control the position here. Chebaani is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Chebaani is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Blacknota locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Chebaani is forced to tap!

#R1# Nice body kick there by Chebaani. Chebaani is looking to clinch but Pawn is avoiding it.
Pawn appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.#TD2# Chebaani looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pawn is looking to escape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pawn is refusing to be controlled, as Chebaani sits in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chebaani content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#T1##CL2# Chebaani pushes Pawn up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Chebaani's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pawn keeps control of Chebaani as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Chebaani misses with a punch on the inside.

Pawn is fighting the takedown attempt but Chebaani gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.#T2# Pawn wants to stand and escape but Chebaani is having none of it. Chebaani trying to control the position from guard on top but Pawn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SU2# Chebaani gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Pawn dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A head kick by Chebaani misses and Pawn counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Nate Pawn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pawn connects with a body shot that sends Chebaani's belly button to the back. Chebaani looks winded!#T3# Chebaani has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chebaani there as he acknowledges the shot. Chebaani shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Pawn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Youssef Chebaani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pawn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chebaani gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Pawn gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
