Boom has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Boom keeping moving, preventing Povetkkin from controlling successfully. Boom managing to control the position. Povetkkin is looking to pass into half guard but Boom pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Boom is in guard.#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom's corner is telling him to maintain position. Boom postures up and lands a big shot to Povetkkin's brow. #SUB2# Boom thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #T1# Povetkkin wants to sweep here but Boom controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Povetkkin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boom defends it easily. Boom makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Boom has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SUB# Povetkkin is looking for a triangle but Boom pushes his legs off easily.

Povetkkin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Boom is really squeezing tight and eventually Povetkkin passes out! Makagziadan lands with a short head shot on the inside. Madeek throws a head punch that misses. Makagziadan gets through Madeek's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.#CUT#It looks like Leek Madeek has been cut.#KD# Makagziadan drops Madeek onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Madeek is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!#ROC#Madeek is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A bit of stalling here from Makagziadan.

The referee tackles Madeek into the cage to end the fight! Madeek is one violent man!

Loopie tries to counter by clinching up but Wilson breaks away and moves out of range. Loopie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wilson. Loopie drops down looking for a counter takedown but Wilson sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson misses with an uppercut

#R1# Ray sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Madeek moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT#It looks like Jaxson Ray has been cut. Ray gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Madeek counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ray looks winded! A left and a right from Madeek both land. Nice combination. #KD# Madeek lands a big uppercut and Ray crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ray looks OK. Madeek waves Ray back to his feet!#ROC#Ray is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Madeek lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Ray head around and knocks him out cold! Madeek hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Madeek leaves Novikov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A big left from Madeek misses. Marquez manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Boom keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors!
