Mullins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Yang gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Yang tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mullins tries to pull guard but Yang won't allow it.
Mullins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yang smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maxwell Mullins. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Mullins is looking to clinch. Mullins tries to clinch up. Mullins slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Cage misses with an uppercut. dosPalmares jabs at Cage's body. dosPalmares connects with the punch.#CUT2#It looks like Crystal Cage has been cut. dosPalmares is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Cage tries to move into range but dosPalmares moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cage looks to land a left hand but dosPalmares moved out of range nicely. dosPalmares digs a good hook to Cage's body.
Cage is breathing heavily. dosPalmares digs a good body shot into Cage's ribs. Cage drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. dosPalmares scores with a nice strike.#ROC2#Cage is rocked! dosPalmares is looking for an opening here. Song shoots in for a double leg but Madeek sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Madeek is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.#CL# Song takes the fight into the clinch. Madeek is trying to break free. Madeek has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.#BC# Song's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Song shoots in but Madeek avoids the takedown attempt easily. Madeek throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Song circles away from the clinch attempt.
Leek Madeek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Madeek fails with an attempt to clinch.

Guevarra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yang counters with a two punch combo. #TD# Guevarra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Yang is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Guevarra asserts his dominance and retains side control.#SUB# Guevarra has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Yang is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Guevarra yanks on the arm and Yang is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Guevarra.

A bone on bone clash there as Wallace blocks the leg kick.

James throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wallace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. James lands with a hook. Wallace tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. James scores with the left hand. Wallace knows he should have avoided that one. Wallace avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wallace swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. James lands the left hand. James sizes up Wallace with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. #T2# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! And that's the end of the fight! Enuardo James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The fighters circling - Cage throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Vemola is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Cage circles away from the clinch attempt.
As Vemola tries to get set, Cage tries to push him back and clinch up but Vemola manages to avoid the attempt. Vemola looks to land a combination but Cage avoids it well. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Cage enables Vemola to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cage manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Vemola preventing the sweep. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vemola's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Cage on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cage tries to get out of the position. Cage is trying to control the position but Vemola postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vieira has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T1# Ilaleztice is trying to get back to full guard. Vieira looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ilaleztice with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ilaleztice tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Vieira controlling the pace. Vieira seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ilaleztice for as long as he can get away with.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Vieira drops an elbow to the side of Ilaleztice's head. Ilaleztice tries to get to full guard but Vieira has control of the leg. Vieira is taking a breather. Ilaleztice says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SU# Vieira escapes and gets back to his feet. Ilaleztice throws a sloppy head kick and Vieira moves out of range easily. Vieira appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ilaleztice shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vieira as he jumps to the side. #T3# Ilaleztice throws a quick inside leg kick. Vieira dodges the punch combination from Ilaleztice.

Cage doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Horvatincic swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cage. Horvatincic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cage on the side of the head. Horvatincic lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Horvatincic listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Horvatincic misses with a body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cage sitting in guard here, content to control. Horvatincic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cage trying to control but Horvatincic is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs.
