Saryev lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Major tries to score a body lock takedown but Saryev shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Saryev tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Major's elbow.
Major is trying to pull guard but Saryev has him pressed against the cage.
Saryev landing knees to the body.
Saryev lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Saryev gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Saryev unloads a knee to the mid-section. Major lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Major jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Saryev walks away with a smile on his face. Major gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Artur Saryev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killian Major.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A head kick by Saryev - that's a beauty! Major is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Saryev can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

McDonald has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Singh clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McDonald struggling to keep hold of the position.
Singh has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from McDonald.
Singh manages to reverse the position and now he's in McDonald's guard. Nice work there by Singh.

I would just about give that final round to Fateh Singh.
Well Singh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Popkov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Xenon shoots in looking for a takedown but Popkov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Xenon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Popkov fails to land with a series of punches.
Popkov works the jab nicely.
Xenon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Xenon dives in and grabs Popkov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Popkov pushes down on Xenon's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddie Xenon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Popkov cracks Xenon with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Xenon falls to his knees and Popkov doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikhail Popkov!
A relieved looking Mikhail Popkov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
