Batcher wants to control from the top but Gerund keeps moving. Batcher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gerund looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gerund throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Batcher throwing strikes from guard but Gerund blocks nicely. #SUB# Gerund had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Batcher defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gerund is on top in guard.

Batcher is doing well to control the position and prevent Gerund from advancing to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are battling for position here. Batcher manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Batcher is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gerund dives into side control.
#T4##REVB# Batcher seems a little lost for a moment, as Gerund dominates the positioning. Batcher takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Batcher struggling a bit here. Gerund controls the position from side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Gerund dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.#R2##CL# Gerund closes the distance and clinches. Gerund goes for a takedown attempt but Batcher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Batcher throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Batcher throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gerund. Batcher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Batcher looks to score with a jab to the body but Gerund is just out of range. Batcher jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batcher goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Danga de danga de dang - Batcher scores with a four punch combination! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Batcher lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gerund has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gerund and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.#TD# Gerund gets a double leg takedown into Batcher's guard. Batcher is wriggling around but Gerund manages to pass to half guard.
#T1##REVB# Gerund is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Batcher! Gerund lands a big elbow. Gerund is in the full mount, landing strikes. Gerund content just to control the position here. Gerund wants to get back to his feet but Batcher is holding on tight.
#T2# Batcher is desperately trying to improve his position but Gerund has a good base and remains in mount. Batcher is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Batcher is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Batcher is breathing heavily. Batcher is just holding on here. Gerund manages to take his back.
Gerund is punishing Batcher with some ground and pound. Gerund slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Gerund seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gerund's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#SUB# Gerund is looking for a guillotine. That was a close second round but I would say that Danny Gerund will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!#R3# Gerund looks for the body kick but Batcher saw that one coming. A combination from Batcher does no damage. Gerund appears to be looking for a big counter.#TD# Gerund fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Batcher to the ground. Gerund is now in Batcher's guard. Batcher wants to get back to his feet but Gerund passes into half guard.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Batcher for as long as he can get away with. Gerund continues to stall. Batcher wants to control but Gerund is having none of it. Batcher has given up his back - I don�t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
