Bear lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bear scores with a couple of short elbows. Bear working the ground and pound. Bear cracks Soialo with a big elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Bear in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Soialo looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Bear turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

#R1# Stan tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nice sprawl there from Stan as Jones shoots in. A little feinted left hand from Stan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
#CUT#It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jones has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Stan tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD2# and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Stan fights it but they end up in guard. Stan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jones manages to pass to side control. #REVR# Stan manages to get to full guard.
Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #T1# Jones is working Stan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jones trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stan's guard. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones wants to pass the guard but Stan is keeping the position. Stan is trying to keep Jones in close.

Jones dives in and grabs Stan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stan pushes down on Jones's head and hops out. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#T2# Stan misses with a jab, cross combination.
#TD# Stan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Stan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jones manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Jones trying to control the position but instead, Stan has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jones into the cage. Stan prevents the takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Average Stan. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. #R1# Faulkner throws a head kick that misses #TD# and Bear counters with a single leg into guard. Faulkner didn't expect that. Faulkner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bear. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bear postures up and lands a big shot to Faulkner's brow. Faulkner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bear is controlling him. Bear landing some decent shots from guard. Faulkner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bear working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Faulkner's head. Bear works a leg free and moves into half guard. Faulkner taking some punishment here, with Bear in his half guard. Bear working over Faulkner with some ground and pound. Faulkner looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bear passes to full mount! Bear cracks Faulkner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bear postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Faulkner bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Bear and the fight is over!

Jimenez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stan's elbow. #TD2# Stan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jimenez uses from the top position. Stan throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SUB2# Jimenez is kicking away at Stan from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Stan grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Jimenez trying to push Stan off... Jimenez taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Petrovic stands up over Stan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Petrovic is trying to break the clinch but Stan has him pressed against the cage. Stan being controlled against the cage. Stan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Petrovic just stands there and leans against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Luka Petrovic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Petrovic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Bear seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thompson tries to kick Bear off but Bear keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bear winds up and cracks Thompson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Bear slips a nice elbow through Thompson's hands, connecting with Thompson's forehead.
