#R1# Scott darts in looking for a takedown but Viktor gets double underhooks and turns Scott into the cage. Viktor tries to counter with a clinch but Scott shakes him off and moves away. Viktor lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Scott wants to get back to striking at distance but Viktor won't allow it.
Scott is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Viktor to keep the fight standing. Scott looks to throw an elbow but misses. Viktor creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Scott throws an elbow but it's blocked.

#R1# Tapia lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Tapia waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Steele. Tapia misses with a lunging right hand
and Tapia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Darien Tapia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tapia throws a jab when Steele was well out of range.#TD2# Tapia gets caught napping as Steele dives in and scores a takedown. Tapia manages to retain guard. Steele postures up and lands a big shot to Tapia's brow. #SUB# Tapia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tapia avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Steele content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Steele lands a couple of digs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Steele makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Steele is working the ground and pound from guard. #R1# Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Williamson circles away easily and Gonzalez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gonzalez slips a jab from Williamson. Williamson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gonzalez on the side of the head. Gonzalez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williamson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Williamson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gonzalez circles away quickly and effectively. Gonzalez tries to counter with a takedown but Williamson is quick to defend against it. Gonzalez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Williamson! But no joy. Gonzalez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Williamson misses with a body punch.
