#R1# Hammer stuffs the takedown attempt from Cat. Cat gets slowly back to his feet. Hammer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hammer lands a really nice looking cross but Cat seems unphased.
Hammer tests Cat's chin there with a solid looking shot. Cat takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.#KD# Hammer drops Cat with a right and a left! Hammer comes rushing in but Cat regains his composure and manages to keep Hammer in guard.
#CUT# It looks like Whiskas Cat has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SUB# Hammer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammer controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hammer is working Cat over from the guard. #R1# Brock moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Brock lands a leg kick that knocks Goldberg off balance momentarily. Goldberg shoots for a double leg takedown but Brock sprawls well. He's pushed Goldberg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Goldberg with a lazy takedown attempt and Brock counters with a straight right hand.#CUT# It looks like Bill Goldberg has been cut. Brock lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brock, right into the meat.
Brock has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Brock bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Goldberg's head backwards. Goldberg stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brock. A solid leg kick lands there for Brock.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Goldberg is defended easily by Brock. Eddie Brock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Goldberg. Brock scoring well with a low kick there.

Cat fails with the takedown enabling Randy to counter with a crisp jab. #KD# Randy drops Cat with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cat looks back up at him and smiles so Randy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action! Randy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cat at a distance.
#CL2# Cat takes the fight into the clinch. Randy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
#ROC# Cat is rocked! Cat is trying to push Randy away but Randy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Cat told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Cat blocks a body shot from Randy. A short right from Randy. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Randy. #BC2# Cat breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cat dives in for a single leg takedown but Randy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Randy is looking to counter punch.#CL2# Cat moves into the clinch successfully.

Hovac is trying to push Goldberg away but Goldberg has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Goldberg goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hovac prevents it.
