That was a close round but I would say that Abraham Alcantara will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McRobbie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Frame lands a jab-cross combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Frame connects with a right hand. McRobbie shakes it off.#CUT#It looks like Kasey McRobbie has been cut. Alcantara looks to score with a jab to the body but Lupus is just out of range. Lupus lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. We've been told by Alcantara's head coaches at Cope's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Lewis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McRobbie changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kakuto has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
