#R1##TD# Cobra shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bustamante is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cobra scores with a couple of nice shots. Bustamante pushes Cobra off looking to stand but Cobra dives back in and keeps control.
Cobra performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Cobra prevents Bustamante from standing back up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cobra lands a nice short elbow. Cobra lands with a punch from half guard. Cobra slows the pace down in half guard. Bustamante is trying to stand.
Cobra working over Bustamante with some ground and pound. Bustamante looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Cobra is nestled in close to Bustamante, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bustamante can do anything to dispel that myth. Cobra moves nicely into side control. Bustamante being controlled for a moment. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cobra lands some shots froms side control. Bustamante really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cobra. Bustamante gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bustamante is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Cobra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cobra in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Bustamante jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. A head kick misses from Boy. Bustamante throws a counter high kick but Boy was just alert enough to avoid it. Boy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bustamante misses with a body shot
letting Monk counter with a right hand. Bustamante misses with a wild body shot. Bustamante misses with a right hand and Monk counters with an outside leg kick.
Bustamante throws a combination that misses and Monk counters with a good, hard body kick but Bustamante shrugs it off. #CL# Monk drives through and clinches with Bustamante against the cage.
Monk throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Monk managing to block the knees to the body from Bustamante.
Monk blocks a body shot from Bustamante. #BC# Monk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Monk bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bustamante's head backwards. Bustamante misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Monk.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bustamante. Monk does a little dance to reset his feet. Monk throws a body punch but Bustamante moves out of range. A shot to the liver by Bustamante. Beautiful body shot.#T1# Bustamante swinging wildly here.
Bustamante tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bustamante throws a sloppy head kick and Monk moves out of range easily. Monk was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Monk avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bustamante ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bustamante is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Monk rather than just go for the knockout. Bustamante moves out of range of the body kick. Bustamante looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Bustamante scores with a nice body kick.
Monk lands with an overhand left. Monk moves away from the strike by Bustamante. #T2# Bustamante doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bustamante slips under a jab from Monk. And Bustamante responds with a good body kick, but Monk manages to step out the way in time. Bustamante looks to score with a jab to the body but Monk is just out of range. Monk lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bustamante takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.#KD# Monk sends Bustamante crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Monk is motioning to the referee to let Bustamante up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Monk cracks Bustamante with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bustamante tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Monk pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bustamante is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

After the fight, Silas Monk was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. Diego Bustamante was interviewed post fight and said 'It is time for The Gladiator to retire from the arena. I am getting old. Thanks to all the fans. Thanks to every org who gave me fight. Fuck Giuseppe Maldini.'.

Lassiter tries to clinch up. Klokov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Lassiter tries to clinch up but Klokov circles away and keeps his distance. Klokov stuffs the takedown attempt from Lassiter. Lassiter gets slowly back to his feet. Klokov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.#CUT2# It looks like Slade Lassiter has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Klokov misses with the combination.
Lassiter swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Lassiter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Klokov sprawls well. Klokov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lassiter gets slowly back to his feet.#T1# Klokov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Slade Lassiter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#KD2# Klokov steps into range and cracks Lassiter with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Lassiter flops backwards and Klokov dives into his guard looking to finish!
#CUT2# Slade Lassiter's cut is getting worse. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Klokov wanted to stand there but Lassiter had control of the position. Lassiter pulls Klokov in close to his closed guard and prevents Klokov from doing any damage or advancing position. Klokov wants to stand but Lassiter has a closed guard, so he can't escape. #T2##SU2# Klokov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lassiter, up you get! Klokov stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slade Lassiter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lassiter takes a swing at Klokov's ribcage but misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Lassiter. Klokov does a little dance to reset his feet. Klokov fails to land with a series of punches.
Lassiter seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Klokov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Lassiter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Klokov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Klokov throws a shot from downtown. Lassiter moves away and avoids it. Klokov lands with a straight right. Lassiter didn't see that one coming.#CUT2# Slade Lassiter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Lassiter connects with a high kick. #T3# Klokov misses with the combination.
Lassiter drops down looking for a counter takedown but Klokov sprawls and moves away. Klokov throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Lassiter to counter with a crisp jab. Lassiter tries to clinch but Klokov is having none of it. #CL# Lassiter has closed the distance and engaged Klokov in a clinch.
#TD# Lassiter turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Lassiter working away. Klokov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lassiter off and has taken his back! Klokov has the hooks in. Lassiter is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lassiter wants to get back to his feet. #SU2# Klokov gets to his feet! The crowd go wild in anticipation of a knockout!
#T4# Lassiter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Klokov throws out the jab. Lassiter thinks about countering with a body kick. The crowd cheers as Klokov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lassiter doesn't seem phased though.#CUT2# Jeez, Slade Lassiter's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
