It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miele manages to end up in side control. Tavares is not content to let Miele control the position. Miele throws an elbow but Tavares slips to the side and avoids it well. Miele landing strikes. Miele tries to advance to mount but Tavares denies him. Tavares is trying to get back to half guard.#T1# Tavares regains half guard. Tavares tries to get to full guard but Miele has control of the leg. Miele frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tavares holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Miele tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

and Miele counters with a left and a right that stings Tavares. #CUT#It looks like Michael Tavares has been cut.#T4# Tavares punishes Miele's body with a nice straight punch. Tavares swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tavares misses the shot to the body. Miele drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tavares sprawls and moves away. Miele looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Miele checks a low kick from Tavares. Tavares pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Miele seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Tavares defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miele. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bella Miele. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Miele on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Miele keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Miele appears to be looking for a big counter. Miele shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tavares as he jumps to the side. Tavares scores with a jab to the head.

Bean manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A chopping leg kick lands by Bean. #CL2# Bean rushes Mohn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mohn is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.#TD2# Bean gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mohn tries to roll over but Bean keeps him under control. Bean takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bean working Mohn over with strikes. Bean is thwarting Mohn's attempts to control the position. Well, if Bean is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ekberg works over Madera with some ground and pound from guard. Madera working a defensive guard but Ekberg manages to pass into side control anyway.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A lull in the action here as Ekberg stalls from top position. A punch combination from Mercer misses. Lee lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Lee looks to clinch and Mercer counters with a right hand to the body. Lee tries to clinch but Mercer moves out of range. Lee ducks right into an uppercut from Mercer. Mercer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Mo Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee misses with a low kick. A little feinted left hand from Mercer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Lee takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That was a close round but I would say that Omega Makkonen will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mr Bean's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! He tries to recover but Makkonen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bean is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A combination from Fenfang does no damage. Chan tries to clinch and Fenfang counters with a nice uppercut. Chan lands a jab-cross combination. Chan throws a head kick but Fenfang moves out of range.

Chan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fenfang connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chan scrambles back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chan is looking to chop away at Fenfang's legs. #R1# Chan looks to score with a jab to the body but De La Weirdo is just out of range. De La Weirdo throws a front kick that sends Chan stumbling back into the cage. Chan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Chan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by De La Weirdo. De La Weirdo appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Chan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but De La Weirdo swivels and escapes. De La Weirdo throws a counter high kick but Chan was just alert enough to avoid it. De La Weirdo jabs Chan right on the nose. Chan blinks but takes it well. Chan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. De La Weirdo lands a body shot.
Chan throws a wild body kick that De La Weirdo sees coming a mile off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. De La Weirdo lands a head kick!
Jackie Chan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.#T1# De La Weirdo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Chan at a distance.
De La Weirdo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Chan has his takedown stuffed and Chan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #ROC#Chan is rocked! Chan tries to clinch up. Chan seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. De La Weirdo shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Chan is backing up but De La Weirdo catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Chan covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! De La Weirdo Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
