And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 108 wins and 60 losses; Ivan Kamenev! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. #CUT2#It looks like Ivan Jankovic has been cut. Tae looks to land a combination but Jankovic avoids it well. Jankovic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jankovic feinted there with a counter leg kick. Tae staying out of range there. Tae misses with a body shot.

Tae takes one to the chin there. Tae fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jankovic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#T1# Jankovic swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tae tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jankovic was well out of range. Poor timing from Tae. Tae misses with a lunging right hand

enabling Jankovic to counter with a crisp jab. Tae rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jankovic counters with a nice kick to the body. Tae jabs Jankovic to the body, keeping him at a distance. Tae tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jankovic was well out of range. Poor timing from Tae. Tae just misses with a punch to the body.

#KD2# Tae drops Jankovic with a beautiful combination! Jankovic stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tae is looking for the KO!#ROC2#Jankovic is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jankovic misses with a leg kick and Tae scores with a counter punch that sends Jankovic to the canvas! Tae smells blood - he's punishing Jankovic with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jankovic has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mabahong Tae! In his post fight interview, Mabahong Tae started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |

Fantastico checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Fantastico looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Fantastico takes a jab right on the kisser.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reis thuds his right hand into Strong's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Reis thows a body kick. Strong tries to catch it but that hurt him. Reis throws out a powerful jab. Reis connects with a right hand. Strong misses with a wild body shot. Strong takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Reis smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Strong keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Reis. Reis with a jab. Reis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Strong. Reis throws a half hearted mid kick. Strong throwing a counter right hand but Reis manages to avoid it. Strong steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Reis. That one must have hurt. Strong tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Reis is able to avoid easily. Reis scores with a nice head shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Strong throws a hook to the side of Reis's head but Reis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A cross from Reis lands. Reis misses the jab.#T4# Strong pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Reis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Strong manages to avoid it. A swing and a miss from Strong. Reis jabbing away but nothing is landing. Reis throws the left hand but Strong avoids the punch easily. Strong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Reis works the jab nicely. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Strong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Strong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Strong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Strong tries to move into range but Reis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Strong takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Reis throws a hook but Strong blocks it. Strong misses with a hook. Reis ducked under it nicely. Reis scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A left lands for Reis. Reis avoids the body shot from Strong.
LaDaniel Strong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dakota Reis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Strong jabs Reis right on the nose. Reis blinks but takes it well.
And that's the end of the fight! Dakota Reis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Reis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
