You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McGintee connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. #CL# Ngacousinfukker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McGintee, pushing him back against the cage. McGintee is looking to control Ngacousinfukker's arms but Ngacousinfukker gets an underhook and turns him. Now McGintee has his back to the cage. We've been hearing reports that Ngacousinfukker has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. McGintee goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
McGintee is pressed up against the cage. Ngacousinfukker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McGintee down to the mat. McGintee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ngacousinfukker tries to clinch there but McGintee circles away.

McGintee swats away the attempt to clinch by Marcellus. No luck for Marcellus with that takedown attempt. Cabbage McGintee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Marcellus. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGintee moves into range and connects with a jab. Gains misses with a looping left. It looked like McGintee wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A jab from Gains misses. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Farkenheil throws a body punch but Hunt moves out of range. Hunt is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Farkenheil here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Farkenheil cracks Hunt on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hunt falls backwards against the cage. Farkenheil follows up with more strikes that drop Hunt to his knees. Farkenheil keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hunt! This one is all over!

Cox prevents Malmsteen from getting back to his feet. Cox lands a couple of digs. Malmsteen is looking to stand back up but Cox counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Malmsteen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cox looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malmsteen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cox landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Malmsteen is trying to stand.
