Garrone misses with a low kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garrone looks to land a combination but Matikainen avoids it well. A combination from Garrone does no damage. Matikainen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looked like Garrone was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Matikainen. No luck with that takedown attempt from Matikainen. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kakuzo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Turtle - the referee stops the clock and Kakuzo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Turtle. Kakuzo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Kakuzo gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nakagome Kakuzo will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Well Joon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
