The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carver moves into full guard.

Peevey shoots in for a double leg but Decon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Decon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Peevey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Decon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Peevey was well out of range. Poor timing from Decon.#TD# Decon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Peevey was covering up waiting for the punch and Decon finishes the takedown easily into guard. Decon is standing up over Peevey. Peevey looks to escape but Decon dives into side control.

No luck this time Decon. Decon is taking a breather. Peevey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Evan Decon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peevey is controlling Decon's position as best he can from this difficult position. Carver is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Shore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Peevey takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kamiya scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brogue shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Roberts eats them both and turns towards Brogue to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Brogue lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brogue. Brogue bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.#KD2# Brogue drops Roberts with a left right combo! Brogue follows him down to the ground into side control.
#ROC2# Roberts is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brogue working the ground and pound. Oh Roberts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Brogue postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
