#R1# Pingu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pingu shoots in but Name avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pingu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. No Name has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of El Pingu. Name misses the shot to the body. Pingu tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Name defends well and Pingu ends up having to push Name into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. No luck for Pingu with that takedown attempt. Pingu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Name defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pingu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Name throws an overhand right that lands on Pingu's shoulder, as Pingu tries to avoid the shot. #T1# Pingu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Name.
Pingu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Name takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Name throws out a powerful jab. Name stuns Pingu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Name moves into range and connects with a jab. Name looks to score with a jab to the body but Pingu is just out of range. Name connects with a body shot that sends Pingu's belly button to the back. A punch lands to the side of Pingu 's head but he takes it in his stride. Name stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pingu. Pingu misses with a low kick as Name jumps back. Name is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pingu. Name throws a right hand that Pingu ducks under and follows up with a left that Pingu also avoids with ease.#T2# This has been an exciting period of action! Name stuffs the takedown attempt from Pingu. Pingu gets slowly back to his feet. Pingu looks winded! Pingu fails with a takedown attempt. Name swinging wildly here.
El Pingu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Name scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pingu doesn't seem bothered though. Name takes a swing at Pingu's ribcage but misses. Name lands a slapping body shot.
Name connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pingu momentarily.
Pingu slips a jab and a cross from Name.
No Name is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T3# Name avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Name swings for the body but Pingu moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Name. Those never looked like landing. Name misses with a wild body shot. Pingu lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Name thows a left - swing and a miss! Pingu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Name.
Pingu fails with a takedown attempt. Name appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Pingu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Name throws out the jab. Name lands a two punch combo.
#CUT# It looks like El Pingu has been cut. Name lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#ROC# Pingu is rocked!#T4# Pingu get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Pingu stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Name runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

#R1##TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Gfgh. Pingu is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pingu sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Gfgh is thwarting Pingu's attempts to control the position. Pingu looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gfgh is looking to take a break and control but Pingu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gfgh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pingu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pingu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gfgh is working away from the top position though. Pingu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T1# Gfgh working over Pingu with some ground and pound. Pingu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gfgh blocks the strikes from Pingu.
Pingu throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Gfgh is just content to waste time from the top position. Pingu takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pingu is on top in guard.

Gfgh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pingu is one step ahead there. #T2# Pingu makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Pingu wanted to stand there but Gfgh had control of the position. Pingu postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pingu trying to control the position from guard on top but Gfgh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pingu wants to stand but Gfgh has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.#T3# Pingu is working Gfgh over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pingu trying to control but Gfgh is working from the bottom. Gfgh is trying to control the position but Pingu postures up. Pingu trying to control the position from guard on top but Gfgh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gfgh darts in looking for a takedown but Pingu gets double underhooks and turns Gfgh into the cage. Gfgh tries to clinch but Pingu moves out of range. Gfgh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pingu. Gfgh fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pingu throws a big counter combination but Gfgh scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#T4##CL# Pingu closes the distance and clinches. Gfgh has Pingu pressed against the cage.
Pingu is trying to pull guard but Gfgh has him pressed against the cage. Pingu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gfgh just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Pingu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pingu lands a body shot in the clinch.

Pingu shoots for a takedown but Gfgh saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#CL# Pingu moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pingu is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. El Pingu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pingu slips nicely into half guard. Pingu scores with a couple of good hammerfists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pingu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Pingu lands strikes from half guard. Gfgh is in trouble now - Pingu has advanced to mount! #T1# Gfgh reaches up to try and control the position but Pingu seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gfgh rolls and tries to escape and now Pingu has his back!
#SUB# Pingu has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Gfgh is in real trouble here. Pingu gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Gfgh is tapping out! Pingu wins by rear naked choke!

Castro wants to get back to his feet but Lawrence is dominant here and he's now got Castro's back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Castro is trying to break free.

He's given up a good position looking for it. Castro looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lawrence! Castro fails with the takedown and Kim counters with a series of strikes. Castro will be more careful next time no doubt. #CL# Kim closes the distance and clinches. Kim managing to block the knees to the body from Castro.
#TD# Kim turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kim manages to end up in side control. Kim working away. Kim cracks Castro with a big elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Castro wants to control but Kim postures up. Kim working the head with strikes. Castro is looking for a sweep. Kim cracks Castro with a big right hand but Castro just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kim creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.#T1# Castro takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
#SUB# Kim thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Castro tries to bench press Kim off him but Kim keeps the position. Castro can't do much from the bottom here. Castro is looking to reverse the position. Kim cracks Castro with an elbow. That is naaassty. Kim could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Castro tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Kim has hold of Castro's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Castro seems comfortable defending it but Kim has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Castro is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Castro is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kim couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Castro misses with a leg kick enabling Rooster to counter with a crisp jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Castro. Castro stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rooster is looking for the KO!#CUT2# It looks like Alejandro Castro has been cut. Castro shoots in but Rooster avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rooster looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.#T1# Rooster swats away the attempt to clinch by Castro. Castro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Castro tries to shoot in for a takedown. Castro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rooster finish him?!

Rooster scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Castro doesn't seem bothered though. Rooster works the jab nicely.#CUT2# Alejandro Castro's cut is getting worse. Castro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rooster.#KD2# Rooster lands a left and a right that send Castro crashing to the mat, dazed. Rooster thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Oh Castro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Castro glances at the clock... BAM! Rooster nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Castro crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Castro is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barry Rooster! Our winner, Barry Rooster, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

#R1##CL2# Castro forces Crane back against the cage and clinches. Castro stops a takedown attempt from Crane.
Crane is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Castro to keep the fight standing.#TD2# Castro is trying to trip Crane. He has hold of a leg but Crane is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Castro persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Castro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Crane's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Castro seems to be looking for submissions.
Castro lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Castro working the head and body with strikes. Castro is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Crane regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Castro. #SUB# Crane has an active guard here but Castro has managed to pass into half guard.
#T1# Castro is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Crane is hurt! He's hurt bad - Castro fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Crane from any more punishment! Congratulations to Castro! Great finish!

#R1##TD# Castro dives in and scores a takedown into Shamrock's guard. Castro lands a couple of elbows. Castro trying to control the position from guard on top but Shamrock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Castro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Shamrock should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#SUB2# Shamrock has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Castro doesn't defend quickly enough and Shamrock has managed to lock this one up! Can Castro escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shamrock on a fantastic submission victory.
