Salter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Smith sprawls well initially but Salter persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Salter is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Salter to get the leverage.
Smith makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Smith.
