He's got his arms around Magomedov's waist but Magomedov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tull off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Tull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Magomedov scores with the left hand. Tull knows he should have avoided that one. #CUT2# It looks like Shane Tull has been cut. Tull darts in trying to clinch and Magomedov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tull has his takedown stuffed#TD2# and Magomedov counters with a takedown into side control. #R1# Tull defending well as Hulken loads up on a big left hand. Tull tries to bum rush Hulken with a series of wild strikes but Hulken uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hulken was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Hulken stuffs the takedown. Hulken went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tull with a poor takedown and Hulken makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Tull throws a head kick but Hulken moves out of range.
Tull tries to clinch up. It looked like Hulken was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Tull shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. #CUT# It looks like Shane Tull has been cut. Hulken slaps away a takedown attempt from Tull, before circling back to the center of the mat. Harald Hulken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Tull. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tull moves in looking to clinch but Hulken pushes him off. Hulken has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. May tries to score with some ground and pound. Tull controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Tull wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Tull is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. May working away. Tull gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Spiezzzo looks up at the clock and then as Prion takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Spiezzzo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Tull fails in his attempt to clinch. Tull tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jack swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tull fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jack scores with a one two! Tull had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #CUT2# It looks like Shane Tull has been cut. Jack throws a body shot but no joy. Jack leaves Tull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tull shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jack as he avoids it easily. We've been informed that Jack has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Tull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jack's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tull under the eye. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Tull might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
