That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Apollo Pares. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pares tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Parker swivels and escapes. Parker connects with a leg kick. Parker chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pares misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice inside leg kick there by Parker. That's going to slow Pares down. #CL2# Parker closes the distance and pushes Pares back into the cage. Parker lands a body shot in the clinch.

Pares prevents Gay from escaping the position. Pares working the head with strikes. #ROC#Gay is rocked! Gay on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Gay is still in real trouble! Can Pares finish him? Pares is putting a hurting on Gay here, landing some big shots from side control. Pares is chipping away with strikes.
Gay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pares. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pares landing a few strikes. A big shot lands for Pares! That's hurt Gay! Will he recover? Pares fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dixon. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pares lands a heavy elbow. Pares raining down shots from the mount!#ROC#Dixon is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pares lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Dixon is still in real trouble! Can Pares finish him? Pares drops a big elbow. That's hurt Dixon! Morton tries to pull guard but Noicheunphan forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Morton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Noicheunphan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.#BC2# Noicheunphan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Noicheunphan throws a looping overhand right but Morton ducks down to avoid it. It looked like Morton was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Denkaosan Noicheunphan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Morton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Noicheunphan is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Morton working hard to break the clinch.#TD2# Noicheunphan gets control of Morton's arms and successfully pulls guard. Noicheunphan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Farina swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Ivanov shoots in but no luck this time. Ivanov tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Farina was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ivanov. Ivanov with a poor takedown and Farina counters with a stiff right hand. #CUT# It looks like Vladimir Ivanov has been cut. Ivanov moves in looking to clinch but Farina pushes him off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ivanov closes the distance but Farina moves to the side and Farina counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ivanov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Farina points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Ivanov wakes up just in time to hear Farina thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Pendragon moves into range and connects with a jab. #CUT# It looks like Eilert De Vries has been cut. Pendragon connects with a body shot that sends De Vries's belly button to the back. Pendragon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between De Vries's hands. Pendragon grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo!
