Hageman wants to control but West is keeping busy and won't allow it. West content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. West will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. West's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hageman keeping control of the position. #T1# West is taking a breather. Hageman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hageman is concentrating on defense, preventing West from advancing position. West slows the pace down in half guard. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD# West throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hageman was covering up waiting for the punch and West finishes the takedown easily into guard. West's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. West is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hageman can do to turn this around? Hageman tries to kick West off in order to stand up. West Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Alan West overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. #R1# Mazepin shoots for a double leg takedown but Gayweather sprawls well. He's pushed Mazepin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mazepin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gayweather counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.#KD# Gayweather lands a big shot that drops Mazepin! Can he finish him?
Gayweather connects with a couple of short punches.#CUT#That has opened up Fedor Mazepin's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gayweather stays in close to Mazepin's body and controls the position. #SUB2# Mazepin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gayweather is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mazepin. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Gayweather lands a nice forearm strike. Mazepin taking a bit of punishment here - Gayweather scoring with strikes. #ROC#Mazepin is rocked!#CUT#Fedor Mazepin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Franco throws a lazy body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Franco misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Franco lands a head kick. Atunes smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #CUT#It looks like Cavalho Atunes has been cut. Franco looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Franco throws a right and a left that Atunes avoids nicely. Atunes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Franco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Atunes. Franco lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Franco scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Franco lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Atunes circles away quickly and effectively.#KD# Franco drops Atunes with a beautiful combination! Atunes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Franco is looking for the KO!#ROC#Atunes is rocked! Franco throws a series of punches but Atunes moves out of range. Atunes is still on wobbly legs! Can Franco finish him? Franco tries a head kick but it misses.

Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Franco stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Atunes. Franco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Atunes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Atunes walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Franco drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Atunes swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Franco's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Hageman looks to clinch and Mercer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mercer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #CUT#It looks like Diego Hageman has been cut. Mercer throws a shot to the body.
Mercer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hageman tries to clinch but Mercer moves out of range. Hageman tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hageman throws a left and a right that both miss

Mercer pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Hageman has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

#R1# Nadadora rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adofo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Adofo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.#CUT#It looks like Yanga Adofo has been cut. Nadadora misses with a wild combination.
Nadadora staggers Adofo with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Adofo looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Nadadora is victorious!

Hageman tries to score a body lock takedown but Peramaki shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Peramaki fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Peramaki jumps guard but Hageman stands there with Peramaki around his waist. Peramaki gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimmo Peramaki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hageman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Peramaki walks away with a smile on his face. Hageman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hageman misses with a takedown enabling Peramaki to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT#It looks like Diego Hageman has been cut. Hageman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peramaki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
