#R1# Hammer throws a series of punches but Francois moves out of range. Francois looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Hammer's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hammer duly obliges. Hammer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Francois has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Francois wants to clinch. Hammer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hammer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hammer lands with a good body shot. Francois on the wrong end of a nice hook. Hammer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Francois's head backwards. McLaughlin is looking to chop away at Normaal's legs. Normaal throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Normaal has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McLaughlin finds it's way round the side to connect with Normaal's head. #CL2# Normaal has closed the distance and engaged McLaughlin in a clinch.
