#R1# McClane misses with a right hand and Yagin counters with a one-two to the body. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Yagin checks a leg kick. McClane misses with a low kick. Yagin throws a big counter combination but McClane scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. McClane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yagin attempts a counter takedown but McClane avoids it well and moves away.#TD# Yagin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McClane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. McClane is looking for a sweep. Yagin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. McClane is trying to improve his position. McClane wants to control but Yagin postures up.#SUB# Yagin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yagin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McClane is looking for a sweep.#T1# Yagin happy to just control the position for now. McClane sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Yagin wants to lay and pray for a moment but McClane keeps working. McClane tries to get to full guard but Yagin has control of the leg. Yagin stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McClane wants to control but Yagin passes into side.
#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McClane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yagin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Yagin trying to control the action but McClane is working from the bottom. McClane tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Yagin landing strikes from the mount. McClane wants to hold on but Yagin pushes him away. McClane is working to get back to half guard.

McClane tries to roll over but Yagin keeps him under control.#SUB2# McClane looking for submissions off his back.#SUB# McClane is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Yagin has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! McClane is tapping! This fight is all over!

Mewes works to advance to full mount. Redbeard defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. #SU2# Mewes is standing up, even though he is in mount. Mewes avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Mewes lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Redbeard throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mewes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Some wild striking there from Redbeard.
Redbeard throws a leg kick but Mewes sees it coming and moves out of range. Mewes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mewes throws out a counter right but Redbeard avoids it with no problem. A swing and a miss from Redbeard. Mewes throws a counter combo. Redbeard tries to work over Mewes's front leg with a kick but Mewes checks it. Mewes tries to clinch but Redbeard moves out of range. Redbeard thows a leg kick but Mewes checks it and Mewes counters with a one-two to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Mewes checks the leg kick nicely there.

and Mewes counters with a two punch combo. Redbeard leaves Mewes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A combination from Redbeard does no damage. Mewes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Raymun Redbeard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Redbeard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Redbeard backs off Mewes throws a huge counter combo but Redbeard manages to avoid it all. Mewes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mewes. Redbeard throws a nice looking combination but Mewes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Redbeard misses with a two punch combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mewes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

#R1##TD2# Tarly tries to sprawl but Duffy drives through with a takedown into half guard.#SUB2# Duffy is looking for a kimura but Tarly is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Duffy to get the leverage. Duffy slows the pace down in half guard. Duffy not landing any meaningful shots this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duffy is taking a breather. Tarly says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#T1# Duffy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Tarly throws an overhand right that lands on Duffy's shoulder, as Duffy tries to avoid the shot. Tarly digs a good body shot into Duffy's ribs. Duffy crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Tarly finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Stout not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. #SUB# Nunes looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duffy throws a jab when Sands was well out of range. Sands connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Duffy slips a straight right by Sands. Duffy looks to land a combination but Sands avoids it well. Sands bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Duffy's head backwards. Sands throws a body shot but no joy. Chuck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mewes circles away quickly and effectively. Mewes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mewes there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice body kick there by Chuck. Chuck has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Chuck fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mewes. Chuck lands a front kick. Mewes looks for the body kick but Chuck saw that one coming. Chuck swings widly with a right hand

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Krupok's half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Mewes is taking a breather. Krupok says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krupok can do anything to dispel that myth. Mewes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground.
