Lamalmar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bushiri sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lamalmar tries a low kick but Bushiri avoids it. Bushiri throws a head kick but Lamalmar moves out of range.
Bushiri shoots in but Lamalmar avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bushiri shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lamalmar as he jumps to the side. Bushiri shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lamalmar as he avoids it easily. Leeroy Lamalmar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shepherd Bushiri. Bushiri looks for a takedown but Lamalmar sprawls well. Lamalmar lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bushiri ducks under a wild hook from Lamalmar. Bushiri throws a lazy right hand but Lamalmar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bushiri tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. It looked like Lamalmar wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bushiri has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bushiri looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Bushiri shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kulik has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kulik throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

He turned his hip over nicely there. Hughes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Killer is pushing Pearson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Kriegor knows he should have avoided that one. Holt might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kriegor shoots in looking for a takedown. Holt tries to sprawl out of it but Kriegor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. And that's the end of the fight! Josh Holt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Holt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
